What I’m doing Now

What am I doing now?

I’m currently working on an unannounced documentary project for Netflix, which I imagine will be wrapping up soon. And then I will find something else to do all day.

I think that when I was a kid, a boy who rode my school bus called my house on our landline telephone and invited me to an event. I want to say it was more significant than a birthday party, but less than international travel. I can only assume this was due to strong parental encouragement.

“Who is this?” I asked, over and over again. I was wary, confused, but curious. I think the boy told me his name, and tried to explain himself. “I don’t know who that is,” I remember saying, even though it doesn’t completely make sense that I somehow remember him now.

What an unintentional power move for a middle schooler.
